R33 Idling Problem

the mesh does nothing other than prevent big stuff from being sucked in. dont even bother with removing it. youve tried ecu reset i assume? have you tried another stock ecu?

If you can live with your car idling @ 1000rpm and 500 when ya air con is on il tell ya. oh and no cold start either

i had a similar problem, idle would jump around...

i fix it by changing my coilpacks

what was urs doing for you to change the coil packs...can u elaborate on jumping around?

I sprayed my air flow meter with throttle body cleaner and the fu**ed up idling has just come back...the "lumpy cam" sound!!

by the way fellas dont ignore the obvious.

Test your fuel pump pressure and your injectors. I tested my pump thats ok so im narrowing it down to dirty injectors as the coils and plugs are ok.

but you will get that lumpy cam sound and irregular idle follwed by that clicking towards the front of your head which is your acc controller trying to adjust to suit.
