yo,

My car runs really slow? its a R33 gtst...TURBO.

Ive tested a 0-100km time and it does it in the high 7's and low 8's?

Why is that?

I haven't serviced the car since 15,000 kms ago (I know, bad)

But would a full engine service help my car perform better? I.e chage spark plugs, clean throttle body, clean injectors, change engine oil etc??

Thanks!

Yes.

And you haven't stated your mods, how many k's your car has done, your cars current power output, suspension setup/state of, way you're measuring your times and the way you're driving your car in order to get those values. Also if your car is running funny, ie currently exhaust leak etc.

If you provide all this information you'll probably get alot more help from the guys on here.

my bad

Um, its a 94 skyline, auto, dragger exhaust, and 10 - 12psi boost. bout it.

Its got a whole in the exhaust somewhere...and the radiator is leaking. thats it..

115 000 on the clock now

But yer, i can barely pull away from v6 commodores.

thanks

get the hole i ur exhaust fixed or get a new system, just a question where does the temp gauge sit?, if u have a leaking radiator this can result in it not pressurising properly, i had this problem in my VL, hole in zaust made my car use more fuel an run like a bag of spuds on wheels, i couldnt even beat a berina.

Take and get a full service and check up and maybe an injector clean

tell them to check all air box bolts and intercooler clips new plugs and get them gaped and get the hole fixed in the exhaust system

Also, the times posted for an R33 0-100 times in the high 6 second mark are for manual cars, you'll loose a bit (up to a second by some reports) of power through the auto box, it's just the nature of them.

If you got the car all serviced and running well, i'd expect times in the low 7's with an auto would be reasonable.

Get the car dyno tuned to get a good idea if the actual power output for the car is healthy or not, that way you can also check your fuel air ratios as well.
