Matt - just wondering where your factory temp gauges sit's when it's up to temps and stable now with the DC16'er?

And when it turns on when your stopped still, how long does it run for??

Just wondering if I've got mine set at the right temp, I got a feeling I should drop it down just a tad.

I'll take a close look & get back to you on the exact position of the needle mate, rather than give a rough guestimate (a few needle widths below 1/2 way?) I do remember noticing it sat a bit higher than standard, but that was going from no FMIC & stock fan to FMIC & DC 16". It probably reads ~1 needle width higher than stock.

Same deal with the running time & so on, I'll monitor & let you know.

I've got the thermo s/w set below 1/2 way.

ATM mine sit's a fraction below halfway, and when the fans turn on they usually stay on for about 1-2 minutes (on 30 degree days).

With the factory fan and intercooler I think it used to sit on about a third or maybe a bit more..

What about an undertray that sits between the air dam and the X-member. It should create a low-pressure area under the car by maintaining laminar flow at least until the X-member. It seemed to work OK on my Z.
