insu
Anyone who's having problems with their pictures displaying, please post in this thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=166435 So we can try and figure out why it seems some people can see the pics fine, while others can't. -Insu Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/110431-diy-aac-valve-cleaning-idle-reset/page/5/#findComment-3083591 Share on other sites

Crash.
Did this one yesterday, there was alot of build up in the idle screw. Clean the lot with coton wool, then used the air gun to dry it all off... Only problem i had was the hose at the bottom, what a pain that was to get off. Other then that it was all good Nice write up Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/110431-diy-aac-valve-cleaning-idle-reset/page/5/#findComment-3145972 Share on other sites

Runs like a dream now. Very good write-up. iam2pro4u
Hi i tried doing this my rb25det was idling at 2300. I turned the screw as much as i could without forcing it and its still idling at 1600 does anyone know what this could be caused from? What should i do. Any help would be appreciated. Cubes
Your problem is with the IAC valve. (cold start idle up) Its located on top of the inlet manifold roughly below where the throttle body resides. The spring can flick off and result in a constant high idle. OR it becomes gummed up and sticks a little.
