Weird Sound High Rpm

I've noticed that when i floor the car in any gear it makes a high pitch squeling noise and sounds like a rubbery noise from the engine bay. It only does it when i get above 4000rpm and the turbo is at full boost.

The following link takes you to a video of the last cruise where my car is the last one to leave the car park (silver R33) and you can here the sound. Its not tyre squeeling either.

Wondering if any of you guys could shed some light on a possible problem or solution thanks

I havent got sound on this PC to hear the sound, but is it like a squealing belt of some sort?

Yeah it sounds like a belt slipping but the tightness and belt deflection is ok

Could be a boost leak.

Check your IC hoses.

Yeah I would say boost leak, or a gasket on the turbo.

I had a gasket on the turbo go just last week.. It didnt sound exactly like that, but it was another high sitched squealing sound (similar to turbo induction noise but louder)...

it was only $45 for the part, but it was a turbo-out job...

If its a boost leak would i see it on the boost gauge coz its running 7psi and it always reaches 7psi

Not necessarily true.. If you think about how a wastegate works, it could just be adding more to compensate for the leaking boost. I had a leak, and showed no change in boost pressure at all...

Ill check the hoses out, should i start the engine up and rev it up to get some boost and listen for leaks?

Ive heard of using soapy water on hoses to see bubbles is this also a good idea?
