Has anyone out there removed an R34 side mirror? There is three screws underneath and if I unscrew them will as is sometime times typical of playing around with these things explode into missing gears and springs!

The folding mirror is starting to play up and now needs a small nudge when opening out. Once its opened out it will freely close when required. Not sure if it is the motor, gearing,or clutches etc. Would like to inspect if I can, but not sure what will happen if I do!

Also could anyone tell me if the mirrors on a GTR R34 are the same as on a R34 GTT as I'm able to pick a couple up at a very reasonable price.
