yeah it does have a restrictor.. if i recall correctly its the pipe on the left of the T connector thingy near the boost solenoid.

to the left of the power steering fluid theres the black metal pipe which goes to the intake.. you'll see a rubber hose coming off that pipe.. and then the hose will probs connect to a T connector.. then off to the boost solenoid.. or something like that.. anyways that rubber hose coming off the black metal pipe is the one with the restrictor in it.. you can feel it with your hand..

most ppl replace that hose when they install a boost controller..

i wouldnt get rid of the restrictor btw.. unless i needed to.. cause stops your car from overboosting and all

its not a restrictor at all. it in fact allows more boost to run in the factory setup. its a dual stage boost solenoid. which switches to a higher setting at a certain rpm. removing it will take away the dual stage which means youll always be at 0.50bar regardless. with the boost solenoid in place it is switches to 0.70bar after 4500rpm. there is however a hack to make it always be 0.70bar

the hack is to use the std boost solenoid to run the 7psi instead of changing it from 5psi to 7psi.. dunno how to do it myself.

manual boost solenoid.. removes the std nissan one. and you set the boost you require and leave it.
