Stock Boost Gauge

hi just a question

i have recently done the mod to get 7psi all the time on my r33 gts25t

but why does my stock boost gauge go only over the "0" a little bit?

is that right? or is there something wrong?

please help

What was the stock gauge doing before you did the mod?

lol u haven't accidentally knocked any hoses off or anything when u were messing around with the solenoid have u?? Check and make sure everythings tight and theres no breaks in the tubing anywhere.

Should be halfway between 0 & 7 mmHg (7mmHg is 14psi so half way is 7psi)

can you elaborate more specificailly on "my stock boost gauge go only over the "0" a little bit"

its a little vague..

if you have 7psi all the time, then the gauge should travel up to 3.5 on the gauge, which in my opinion IS only a little bit above zero...

I have a GTR 33 running 10psi not the stock 7psi and my standard boost gauge is just under 1/4. This is normal when the boost is turned up the gauge callabration and sensor's from the ECU say it's more than 0psi at idle, so the gauge is reporting correctly so to speak. It is really nothing to be concerned with. If anyone knows how to recalbrate the gauge or sensors please follow on from here.....

not sure what you are saying, but the boost gauge is not connected to the ECU.. if that's what you are trying to say
