2 boxes under parcel shelf??

Under the parcel shelf just slightly to the right of centre are 2 rectangular alloy boxes one under the other. The one directly under the parcel shelf measures 170mm x 140mm x 40mm thick and the smaller one directly under it is 160 x 100 x 25mm thick.

Both have wiring harnesses coming out of them and leading into main harness.

Could someone tell me what these boxes are. Someone has suggested thy are for the Hicas.

My car is a 93 r33 4 door auto gts-t.

Also, does anyone in Perth sell the El luminous dash bits?

One is definitely the HICAS controller, and in mine is all that I have there. I think it can vary a bit, as mine is an R33 '94 gts-t, but i've also heard of people say there is some sort of secondary CPU in the 2nd box?

whats the box thats attached to the roof of that parcel shelf bit... looks a bit like a hd

one ofn them is the hicas computer and the other is abs

I did forget to mention that I have ABS. Apparently ABS is not too common on this model.

yes i was looking at this the other day! i have these 2 boxes and my friend only has one whoooahhahah, yes it must be the abs and hicas

Cool, i've wondered what they were.

I don't have ABS but i have 2 boxes and a R32. One says Panasonic, so that might have something to do with stereo?

I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them here for clarification

yeah, one is the amp for the rear speakers... the other is HICAS.

Walkoau, Read what RadiuM posted.

I checked it out on my car, the panasonic round looking box has picture of a speaker and 4ohm there.
