Transmission Problem!

Hi all,

I have a Skyline GTR34 2000 model and bought it recently, and Its really an amazing car to own.

I have a problem in my transmission and I need a big favor…

so,let me tell you my problem 1st

When I floor it and shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, the stick shift doesntt go into the 3rd gear and I have to fight with it just to shift and while I’m shifting it I hear krissssh sounds, I dunno if it a syncro or the trani problems however when I drive it normally it doesn’t happened, it just shift without any problem?!?!

So, guys could you help and tell me what to do?

Your tranny fluid is shot or syncro is gone. Do a fluid change, use Redline tranny fluid, IMO they are the best money can buy.

Thanks bro for the tips... My mechanical called me this morning and he told me that my syncro is totaled and I have to replace the syncros …

I think I have no choice and I have to change them… Guys, I need numbers and contacts of the dealer in Australia and New Zeland if its possible so, I can order the parts..

Check this thread out mate. It appears 3rd gear in that gearbox is the weak one.

Thanks mate ...... I went to Toyota customer service today and I orderd some parts from them for my GT .. I'm really supprised that Supra has the same trani as GTRs and it really helped me alot and saved my time...

My proble is solved now and many thanks to people who helped me
