How Do You Tella True 1996 Gtr? Did All 1996+ Gtr's Have Passenger Air Bags, Or Was It A Dealer Option?

How can I tell a 1996 GTR is a 1996 & not a 1995?

Can someone clarify for me if ALL 1996 GTR's had passenger air bags as standard? I know they had the drivers side.

Is the passenger side air bag a sure way to tell if it's at least a 1996 GTR? What are some of the other 'dealer/factory' standard features that you can tell apart a 1995 GTR from a 1996? (regardless of what complance/factory plates state?

Does having a gold GTR (badge) for instance help, as I think they only came out for the 1996+ GTR models, yes I know you could probably pick one up from somewhere, but what else is there that is not so hard to fake between a 1996 & 1995 GTR?

I have searched but have got different advice, eg, passenger side air bag was an option (?? seems a bit odd to me) or that those manafatored between Jan1 & Jan30 in 1996 didn't have the passagner side air bag only the drivers side - can anyone set me straight?

nota ALL 1996 GTR's came with a drivers side air bag. Anyway they just add unwanted weight - hehehehe!@!!
