Fair enough. Just trying to help.

Good choice on the Tamiya one. My gripes with the kerbside fujimi and aoshima ones aren't just about the lack of detail, its also in deformed proportions and such they have.

I buy from HLJ or hobbyworld because I've had nothing but grief from shady Hong Kong ebay sellers.

Yeah, $10 buy it now...$50 to ship it...In a brown paper bag with tape over the end, and labelled as a gift to avoid duties... Bought 3 kits from Honkers, 2 have been crushed, one irretrievably, got sodomised on shipping costs each time, took weeks to ship each time...Never, ever again. In contrast I've had 20+ kits ex-Japan with no problems.

decided not to get that one but this one

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=310088364014

comes with race seats and xtra gauges and aluminium for the exhuast pipes

its also from HK so we will see

the porsche 911 gt2 that ive got came from HK and that was all fine - took 1 week to ship and shipping was $10, same as this one

we will see.....otherwise it will be HLJ (do they take paypal?)

Some nice models there, and the F1 cars are cool!

I bought a glass cabinet from a trophy store second hand for $100.

Cleaned it and plugged it in, no more dusty models!

Now they looks-the-goods :)

I've recently built a silver R35...definitely looking to do more so i can get better..my main downfall is adding the stickers to them. I also have a 1:18 diecast of Nomuken's R34 BLITZ skyline, and another 1:18 of the Blue Calsonic R32 GT-R

Definitely need to get one of these...

guys if your interested in models go to the NSW forum section, there is a thread in there called "display your car free" and its about an event this weekend @ bankstown airport.

go have a look

Hey all, very nice stuff makes me feel kind of inadequate :)

But gotta represent for the C210's, this is a mini version of mine. A long way from being finished (both of them) needs wheels and getting a proper respray.

Cheers Dan

Ok took a photo on my phone (would load it up but takes too long lol) - i've got 16 models in total...consisting of:

R35 built model (one of those Tamiya DIY ones)

MY04 WRX (same deal)

Nomuken Blitz ER34 diecast 1:24 scale

Ford Mustang (dub city diecast)

AC Cobra (1:24 diecast)

Top Secret S15 1:24

Team Falken Infinity G35 (1:24)

Orange/Black Porsche GT3 RS (1:64)

HKS red S15 (1:24)

Calsonic R32 GT-R (1:18 i think)

Peter Brock VK Malboro limited edition 1:18 diecast

Garth Tander VE 07 Championship Winner

Garth Tander/Will Davison 09 Bathurst Winner

Rick/Todd Kelly Jack Daniels VE V8 Supercar

1:24 i think Ferrari F355

I've recently completed my small collection made up of 1:18 diecast AutoArt models.

R34 Z-Tune

R33 GT-R (series 3)

R32 GT-R V-spec II

The R33 I thought I'd never find in 1:18, there wasn't any around until recently.

It really completed my set as it was the same as my old R33, even though mine was a series one.

Nice cars, and Nick that R35 looks cool. I need to get one too!

Yeah i was quite pleased, i need to practice at putting the smaller decals on though, i couldn't get the front GT-R logo on, or the ones that are on the side gills...my hand just doesn't seem steady enough, and i use tweezers, and it gets stuck on the tweezer and then i get the sh*ts. Might have to use a pointer or something next time.

Hey guys,

This is mine, for those who aren't sure by looking, yes it actually drives.

The cars a 1:10 HB Cyclone S with some minor mods (pro diffs w/carbide balls, uprated sways and customized endlinks etc). Going brushless soon, soon as I can justify the power to blow it to pieces...

Shell is the Tamiya Loctite R33, rare as rocking horse shit.. Originally sold in 1995 in a kit with a fairly basic chassis (i think the emphasis was on being a working model R33). Later tamiya did a re-release just for a tokyo car show where you could purchase a limited edition shell with no post markings, completely uncut and unpainted (did come with the loctite decal set although im saving that for something else). Mine is the limited edition model from that show, still stamped tamiya 1995.

I chose to do it gunmetal to honor my humble GTST :)

I dont use the shell much, the current motor and computer combo is seeing it walk past traffic with a zero to top speed of roughly a second.. trying not to damage the car itself is hard enough let alone my limited edition shell..

Hope you guys enjoy!
