Lost Power Steering

Hi Guys,

I swapped the engine in my 32 GTS4 a fortnight ago and getting a few teething troubles... The current biggie is that the pwer steering is not working. When we first completed the install the power steering worked, but the Hicas light was on, I found out the two systems were connected and to top up the ps fluid again, so as soon as I left the shed to buy some more fluid the power steering stopped working... I topped up the fluid and now the hicas light is off, but after a few drives the fluid level is still at the high point but I have no power steering, would I have dried out the ps fluid in the steering by driving it? or will it just take a bit of time to work its way through again? thanks muchly
