Thanks guys. No new mods since my last 13.4's, just practice. Still auto.

This is from the other thread I started:

I've been quite frustrated by my bad drag times so far in my car. Even when I had the stock turbo I seemed to be way behind the pack. I've been to a few wednesday night street meets and in my unprofessional opinion they suck for everything bar socialising. Too many cars, not enough runs, too many rotaries dropping oil all over the track.

I figured what I needed was a private track day with lots of runs to practice so I went to the V8owners track day on sunday (I was invited by the organisers who know me) and I practiced.

First run 13.4

Second run 13.3

Third run 13.2

Fourth run 20.4

Fifth run 13.08

Sixth 13.4

Seventh 13.2

Eighth 12.9!!!!

At this point I rang 2rismo who gave me a little tip and told me I had a 12.8 in it. I didn't believe him and consequently stuffed the next 3 runs up.

Next I started paying attention and I got about 4 12.8's and then 3 12.7's each time dropping a few hundredths on my ET. My MPH on my final pb of 12.764 was about 105.xx but interestingly I got 107.95 and 107.88 on other runs so maybe I've got a 12.6 in it?

I've got steel wires sticking out my tyres now and a grin from ear to ear. I made lots of smoke and put some of the V8's to shame, although one guy made my 190km/h burnout over the start line look lame by burying me in his tyre smoke.

Congrat's on the ET improvement!

Peter and Duncan are a well organised friendly bunch who know how to put on a good day at WSID. I went out in March with them, lots of fun.

theres an LS1 private day ive been invited to....how does the car hold out on a full day of drags?

better than a track day?

i.e. less or more wear and tear?
