Hey all,

I am looking at buying a Trust V-spl (276 X 600 X 76) front mount for my r32 gts-t but have heard many different opinions about them so if anyone here has one could you let me know what you think about them.

I am looking at upgrading my car slowly over the next 2-3 years and aim to get mid 12 second passes at the end of it and am willing to spend a bit extra to make sure i get the right product the first time around so if there is anything else out there for around $1200 or less that you think would be a better buy let me know why you think so.

Also i have heard that these are only good for moderate to low boost levels...is this true?

Any info about them or any other frount mount would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers

Ryan

You've got the same idea as me even if it costs a little more its worth it in my opinion too.

i just got a blitz kit reason being i am not going to get an aftermarket plenium & i dont want to cut holes in the battery tray if you are going to go after market with plenium get a Greddy one but if not go blitz

when i was looking i was either blitz or greddy and it came down to blitz because of there piping routes. there a little bit cheaper too!

goodluck

you should be able to get them slightly cheaper. search for sales here and nissansilvia.com.

cant tell you much about the cooler. doubt youd have any issues. id go it if i could afford it.

seems the piping costs more than the chinese coolers in any case. bolt on trust would be nice =p

the airflow target (ie: horsepower) + desired power band + driving application should be the basis of your selection.

X brand and y brand is not the right question. Sadly most people will advise you according to this, most people have no idea.

the very best way to go is to get an idea of the kind of power curve you would like, considering the application. Find someone's dyno pic that has a similar curve and work out the average horsepower of the power band. Provide this info along with the peak power value to someone who custom builds intercoolers like ARE. They will then design a custom sized intercooler matched for the application.

I did this recently with a replacement intercooler for my GTR.
