RB20 cut out problems

I currently own an r31, the guy who owned it before more, took the rb30, and put an rb20 out of an r32 in. It has the standard 32 intercooler, 3 system and high flow cat. I have a two stage boost controller, can run standard boost, or 1 bar. When I run 1 bar, the engine cuts out at 5000+ rpms. The cut outs are only slight, but they seem to be getting worse. The car keeps accelerating, but, it jolts just slightly. Feels like an electrical problem to me, but I'm no mechanic. Occasionally it happens when running standard boost as well. I ALWAYS run 98ron fuel. Can anyone give me any suggestions????

yep check your plug and their gaps should .8mm

sounds like a boost cut to me,get a chip of dr drift

Does it have the speed senser/wire connected coz I heard it can give cuts like that.
