Guys,

I need to know the maxumum power i can get out of a Garrett T04Z 0.96 on a RB30/26 with cams, port polish and pump fuel

you need to add more details

for example is it a std rb30 bottom end, or Forged rods etc as i think the std rb30 bottom end will be your first weak link as the turbos got plenty in it. What cams, injectors and ecu and fuel pump?

RB30 Engine with forged internals and crank collar. Head has HKS Step1 272 Cams and cam gears aswell as full head service and mild port.

R33GTR lift pump with Bosch 044 feed pump. Sard Fuel reg with 800cc Sard Injectors and PowerFC with Q45 AFM

i was advised by a workshop against using a rb30 bottom end with my t04z (1.00 a/r). They said that it would not have high enough rpm to take full advantage of the turbo. It will be fully balanced, argo rods/forgies, NEO head, tomei 260 cams, port and polish etc.

Your workshop has no idea then.

The rb30's rev fine with a set of aftermarket rods. The std rods are what cause the rb30 not to rev safely.

It may need slightly bigger than 260duration cams to make the most of it though. 265-272.

i was thinking bigger cams aswell although i can not find any cams bigger then the tomei 260..Strictly NEO heads of course. Apparently there are none that exsist so i am limited in that sense. The port and polish will be aggressive to compensate. What kind of rpm can the rb30 rev to with argo and balanced end? 8000k?
