my advice is get into some motorsport in you current car before buying a dedicated race car.

I dont know your history at all but i havent seen you at any of the state rounds of the super sprints etc or any of the (few) hill climbs i've been to. I say try it out a while first and see if you really like it and think it's worth blowing $15-20K minium on. That is what it will cost to have a trackworthy GTR even without compliance/rego etc. it's a big investment.

Luckily i wont be the only buyer, there will be a few of us buying it, to keep costs down and as we all cant use it as often as we would like it will work out well
