HEY THERE, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF SOME ONE COULD LET ME KNOW WHAT THIS IS, THERES A LITTLE ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH A CABLE ATTACHED TO IT, THE CABLE RUNS OUT UNDER THE CAR NEAR THE EXHUAST TIP, THE MOTOR THING IS LOCATED IN THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE BOOT IN THE WHEEL ARCH, JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IS FOR AS ITS NOT HOOKED TO ANYTHING HAVE A FEW PICS.

yer, stuff knows what its for, but it defentley looks factroy mounted in there when you have a close look at the way the mounts and that are, the car it self is a 96 r33 series 2.

nah its not the boot release thats all works this runs out underneath the car the cable is just hangen there near the exhuast tip.

yer could be something like that, its just the mounts it uses that throws me as they are painted the same as the rest of the boots original colour, unless the whole inside of the boot area has been painted since it was installed, but even the mounts look factory were they bolt. but then again theres nearly 100 people viewed this post and no one has said they have one so probley not a factory item.

ok guys been told they come out with a factory fitted exhuast butterfly set up, witch opens up fully at a certen rev range. cheers anyway.

i take it the stock butterfly would be rather small then and mine might have 1 anyway depending on when they implemented this feature
