Turbo Has Started Acting Weird With Hks Evc 3

Hey!

I installed a HKS EVC 3 a while ago, worked perfectly, but now its started to act weird:

When the EVC is ON(i have no probs when its OFF) and it starts to build boost its building up in waves, not linear, and backfiring some, example starting with zero boost and then full throttle, in BAR:

0.0 0.2 0.3 0.4 0.35 0.5 0.45 0.6 0.55 etc. etc. up to about 0.9 bar of boost.

Ive checked all the vacuumhoses and i cant find any leaks, but i might have just missed it.

I have not done the turbo-selflearning procedure with the EVC since i dont know how to start it. Also, this problem arrived some hours after i started running higher octane fuel, using octane booster.

What do you think?

does it make any beeps after a while when this problem occurs? if so just fiddle with the wiring a little bit, one of them sounds loose (i had this problem). do the self learn too, it should help. the manual is online
