Series 2 turbo has a plastic wheel which is meant to spin up quicker.

Series 1 turbo has a ceramic wheel (I think) which would be more hardy?

Regardless both perform equally well but I'd go for the S2 one as it would have generally been used for less KMs .

It has been asked a few times so a search would have got you your answer but ill post because what wink posted is incorrect and im sure u want to know the correct info (no offence wink!! )

both turbos have ceramic exhaust wheels

series one has steel compressor wheel

series two has plastic compressor wheel

the problem with them is the exhaust wheel which is the same on both, so the series two turbo is better as it spools up quicker with no real negatives.

Well I was half right.

No offence taken - the only way anyone learns in life is to make mistakes!

They are, as stated indentical apart from the comp wheel.

Which, if you ask me, makes no noticeable difference.

Which ever one you get cheaper is the one your purchase

You shouldnt pay more than $400 for ANY R33 gts-t turbo these days
