anyone know of some Aussie servers for it as the i can't get a decent ping even with adsl?

Yeah I have it. It does rock. I have not tried to play over the net (just play it at lansand single player). Have you tried the OptusNet server? I think Telstra have one as well. Come to think of it most of the bigger ISPs should have a server running.

Bummer! I checked last night and there is an OptusNet server for DM. There were too many servers going to check all of them (about 1000). Played a bit of DD and CTF. Not bad. I could get addicted.

yeah ctf is funky

theres one thats got abit of a sneaky point to it

you go over the top while everyone else goes around the bottom.

it also fixed my problems with my my kyro (yes i'm povo) with some of the rendering ....

There is a new patch for UT2K3. I read it gets rid of the CD scan thing at startup.

I have seen the HL2 screens, i can't wait for that one. I got Red Faction 2 yesterday and it rocks big time (GeoMod is unreal)

RF2 came out about 2 months ago. It is not as good as RF but fun none the less.

Also Can't get counterstrike runnin with Blue Shift, I downloaded so many patches and updates its not funny, still won't work... says can't play with a different version protocol...
