Non-coilover suspension options?

Will need to upgrade the suspension on the R in the near future.

Probably won't use coilovers unless I can snaffle some quality used units that don't result in you pissing blood after an hour or two of country driving.

Anyway - the two most popular options seem to be:

* Kings springs/Koni shocks

* Whiteline kit (Whiteline springs/Bilstein shocks)

Not sure if I got the shock brands around the right way.

What are people's experiences and preferences?

I have KYB dampener adjustbale shocks, and matched lowered springs... came with my car...

fine for nice roads... and only mild on hard roads, wont make you piss blood... but still bloody hard....

but oh my god handles corners SO much better...beautiful!
