Guys,

Maybe a stupid question, but 'officially' how long should I give the turbo to cool down - generally, I give it 4-5 mins after I last boot it to cool down (driving or stationary). Is this OK??? or too long/short? - I have no turbo-timer on it, and was just wondering...

Cheers,

Chris.

Usually I drive "off boost" for a few minutes before I know I'm going to shut it down then Ijust let it idle for 1-2 mins . If I havnt had that "off boost" time then I'll leave it idling for a couple more minutes .

Unfortunately my HKS TT got pinched somewhere between Japan and Sydney hehe .

I have an Apexi TT with the auto timer...

If i have the a/c on and i give it a bit the car wants to idle down for about 1:30....

If i just give it a bit it will want about 50seconds

If i baby the car it reads 10seconds....

This is the highest auto setting on the timer too.....

It knows whats best...

EXample: Driving the Mad Mt. It wanted to cool down for 6:30 minutes so it must have really copped it... LOL
