Hi Everyone,

I test drove a R33 today and the guy said it has a locker diff, but I have never driven a car with a locker diff before and am not sure if it is true or if the diff is just rooted. It looks like a standard skyline diff from the outside.

In reverse it makes funny knocking noise and when moving forward slowly it also makes this noise but driving over 10-20Kph it drives perfectly fine with no noise.

Has anyone had experience with a locker and what are your thoughts?

I used to have one in my Silvia and I thought something was wrong the first time I drove it. If I turned a corner sharply it would clunk and carry on and the inside wheel would start to lock.

I got used to it though...depends if you can.
