Having an annoying problemo with my headlights, that is getting worse.. When turning my headlights on, they will randomly decide not to work, but one at a time... and sometimes both at once!! They even turn on and off whilst im driving...

Im thinking its the switch you use to turn them on, coz if you tap the switch with your finger, it can help the light come on... but also, if you want to use highbeems (with the lever that the indicators are on) and then go back to the headlights, the problem occurs there too..

My questions are...

1) Has anyone else had this problem?

2) Is it relatively easy to take the switch off and maybe clean the connection or something?

Appreciate ya help guys!!

Read the thread "R32 headlight problem". pretty sure its a common problem with R32's. its your switch. once you take the dash surround off unplug the white plug connecting to the switch. the terminals inside this switch might look corroded, broken, something of the sort. clean the terminals. also check the inside of the switch too.
