Speedo Problemo

hi all.. i have hit a brick wall with my cef... well not literally... anyways im having a huge problem with the speedo... the cefiro runs a cable into the gearbox right??... but the s15 gearbox doesnt have a housing to suit this sensor... so... are there any alternatives???... im desperate for any sorta advice... please someone has got to have some help for me... i need this to register the car.. i have access to a complete s15 front... is the abs in the front and if so can i use the sensor???..

Hey mate call Roshan @ Driftline 0425855540. I will be getting my conversion done here and he mentioned something about the speedo sensore having to be changed over.

Might be able to offer some advice.

Well... My Trust Turbo Timer has a speed funtion... eg: stay stopped, set speed (as you don't know what speed you are doing (as per instructions that come with it)) and there you have it... place in a spot where viewable and there you are.

is yours still rb20??... mine doesnt have a speed sensor at all as the cable cant be used with the s15 box... hows your turbo timer hooked up??...

if it gets too much hassel fit a stock sr 20 gearbox for rego they use the same kind of sensor as the rb 20

also the original rb20 tail shaft should fit straight up with the sr20 box

Still rb20 ECU... Turbo timer is "T'ed" off the ECU speed signal sensor wire... so if that doesn't work... ummm perhaps someone else...
