Hi Guys

Theres only a few kits left from a previous group buy from people that didnt end up purchasing them, so first in first served.

They were for a group buy for people that own cefiro's and the earlier model R32 Skylines whose low beam bulbs are the H3C type. These H3 HID kits will fit and focus perfectly to your H3C housings, as its only the rear connections that are actually different on H3 and H3C halogen bulbs. Those that own these cars know how bad their current light output is, so it is highly recommended to get one of these kits.

The price is at the now reduced $350 delivered. These quality kits are made in Korea and are NOT the cheaper Chinese or Taiwanese HID kits available from other sellers on the net. There is a 1 year warranty on the kit.

I have some photos and information on my website www.bosimporting.com.au which should clear up most of the questions you may have about HID. A quick link to the photos is found here:

hi ben

the r33 has H1 bulbs in the low beam. because the r33 has seperate bulbs for low beam and high beam, the hid kit will only go in the low beams. you can get another h1 hid kit for your high beams but almost no one does this as you hardly would use high beam when you have hid in the low beams. only cars with h4 bulbs would need to get the hi/low beam hid kits otherwise they wont have high beam at all.

i am currently running a group buy for hid's in another forum, as i dont have any left atm, and it is ending this friday. if you would like a H1 HID kit, let me know what colour you want e.g. 6000K and if you make payment by this firday you will be part of the group buy and i will send you the kit sometime next week when i receive them. the price is $340 delivered through this group buy. PM me if you want to be in along with your address. my account details are below:

no H3 HID kits left, sorry mate.

The r32's are the worst with halogen lights, hid kits are a must on these cars, especially if you dont drive on areas with well lit roads...

you need a H1 kit, but it will be hard to get the bulb to sit into its place because you cant have the adaptor there which would normally keep the bulb into place. Instead you would have to fit it in by making something that will hold it into place. ive had the same issue for my r32, so i got some metal wire and coiled it, then used this to press it against the h1 hid bulb and secure it into the headlight by putting the coiled wire between the gaps where the adaptor would also secure itself to.. the colours i have are mostly 6000K, but sometimes i get 8500K or 6500K if people request them. i dont have any H1 kits left at the moment though.

    • The above video is working normally. That is, that's how the right hand indicator should cancel when rotating the wheel left.
    • I noticed that I could see creatures on the moon when I turned my new headlights on. I thought I should check the alignment. It's pretty rudimentary but I just grabbed some dry wall and put it against my tablet and made sure the beam was below the height on the headlights. Ie the beam is at 600mm on my car, I just made it lower than that 7.5m away.  Not the best but it'll do until I can do it properly at the local shops.
    • As @Duncan said - the bores are most likely to cop it. But anything can and does happen. Rods are cheap. Rods are good. The work to rebuild the motor will be 30x the price of rods. You won't notice it.
    • Yeah car has 110 on the clock. That said the front turbo (that exploded) doesn't seem to be the original, it has a S1 part number but the car is a series 3. Yep, in the cat is where I first found the turbine wheel pieces - a couple decent sized ones, then a whole lot of fragments.  I agree, probably makes sense to upgrade parts that are being replaced. Things like rods would be 'nice' but realistically it seems unlikely they would need replacing. I was hoping that it was a case that they generally f**k up the valves but not the bore, or vice versa. Is it generally the scour damage rather than ceramic bits getting mashed into the piston tops / valves? I tried a search but couldn't find any threads with pics from the guts of a motor that's had this happen.
    • Front seats now in, fixing a little rust then front doors sealed up again finished. had to install a fire extinguisher within arms distance of drivers seat for hill climb regulations. little bit of good old silo diff action lol IMG_9146.mov
