Apexi Igition Timing Issue

Ok, I have a problem with the power FC in my car.

The story goes like this, I go into my ignition map and change figures, these figures change but have no effect on the engine at all. The ECU will run the base ignition map even though the figures have been changed.

Has anyone else had this problem, or may know what might be going on?

Please expand a little more, do you mean the value pshyically doesnt change on the hand controller? The engine doesn't adjust (pitch change of revs)? Or the values get reverted back to how they were when car is off?

You can't change idle IGN timing as in cell @ 2x2

why not ? I can change mine !

I set my static timing to 0degrees, so therfore i should be able to retard the timing or advance the timing at idle.

The value in the hand controller/datalogit changes but has no effect on the engine, it will stay at 15degrees no matter what value i put in. This will happen at all load points accross the map

check the map tracer and make sure its idleing on the right spot.

IGN adjustment on cell 2x2 doesnt do anything on my car.

if I do temp IGN adjust it changes the idle timing

done that, and just to be sure i grabed 2 cells either side and changed them all
