Ok, I was browsing through the For Sale section and noticed that not many people advertise 'correctly' (ie: Location details in title) making it time consuming when sourcing parts in a particular state/city.

Sooooo,

I was wondering if a layout like this was possible:

For Sale(Parts) -

\in VIC

\in NSW

\in QLD

\etc

\etc

For Sale(Private Vehicles) -

\in VIC

\in NSW

\in QLD

\etc

....and so on and so forth......

Not sure of others but im not really a fan of purchasing secondhand items from another state without the option of physically checking it ova for fear of being ripped off.

You could maybe even put another category under Parts for "Air Freight Sales"...but that might be going over bored...

:(

I hear what you are saying about guys not posting the item location, but...

Christian has reinstated the Trader Ratings - use it as a straight shooter list to verify people that have conducted good trades/sales. No rating? You decide if you'll risk it?

i'm against it. if i just want to search for a part in all states i'd either need to run a search or go through all these different sub-forums. atm i can just open for sale and browse through the last day or so's posts.

Sorry but I agree with Baron, seperating the classifieds further makes them more complex and frankly i dont care what state a part is in that I wish to buy, I am more concerned with the reliability of the seller.

Hrrrmmm....Ok they're valid points.

How about maybe adding an extra bit that forces you to select what state you're selling from...maybe a scroll down tab when posting a new topic.....as apposed to having it as an option under the heading....
