Strange Noise In R34

Hi guys just wondering if anyone knows as to what this problem may be I have an 98 R34 GT-t while the car is on i am hearing a strange noise like its lite grinding but as soon as i push the clutch in it stops and when i let go of it again it starts again this is while being stationary, when driving the noise cant be heard.

The clutch is fine and the gearbox's feels good

just wondering if this is common with R34 GT-t

I'll take a stab in the dark and say thrust bearing

Hey mine does that two, it's pretty hard to hear it unless the door is open and when i engage the clutch it stops. My mechanic said not to worry about it and the car doesn't seem to be affected at all by it.

SKY031 do you think it's something that should be investigated futher and what kinda damage can it do?

I had exactly the same problem about 2 years a go, and disappear by itself. The car is still running fine until now.
