clutch and flywheel etc where all changed when the engine was rebuilt about a year ago so hopefully the clutch is still good

Should be less than 70 bucks..

you get them with a clutch kit however.. so maybe see how your clutch is feeling at the same time..

Unique Autosport have them..

I'm not convinced you are talking about what the rest of us know to be thrust bearings.

There is only one thrust bearing, and its the thing that presses on the fingers of the clutch pressure plate when you depress the clutch pedal. It should have been replaced when you had your clutch done, so it shouldn't really be getting noisy by now.

What exactly are the symptoms you are experiencing?

there is a rattling sound when the car is stationary and you put your head near the front drivers side tyre, however when pressing in the clutch rattle goes away, is a strange sound not like a common rattle.

mmmmhhh very intresting you say that cause i am at 200rwkw + with the rb20det so maybe straining the box a bit.

well the clutch kit was done a year ago maybe is no good now!

maybe i will replace bearings and see how long it lasts

thats for the info mate

ye its thrust baring for sure

if you have a new cluch and they didnt change it... to bad its gotta come off again

may aswell get a baring and seal kit for the box.. i got a r32 gtst box and baring are f**king up cause of the torque :D

Or it could be roll over noise with in the gearbox! Slight chattering of the gears with the clituch engaged in neutral. You can't diagnose these things on the net unfortunately but there's some food for thought

what do you mean diagnose on the net???

i have done it on previous car, common problem from dumping clutch too much  .

and i have already decided it is this i am just asking for ppls opinon, i will still do it my way neways!
