Some of you may know, some of you don't so here's the lowdown before the rumors start.

Ice Performance is going through a restructure.

Gerald and Nigel have been running Ice Performance over the last 3.5 years to build a strong and reputable name in the modified automotive industry. Together they built Victoria's fastest GTR, Australia's first 10 second GTR and countless other monsterous street machines.

Nigel has decided to part ways to start his own business in the automotive industry. The split is amicable and there are no ill feelings between any parties involved .

Business will be as usual at Ice Performance as Gerald will be running things on his own from now on. Servicing, modifying and upgrading of your car will still be conducted as usual.

In early to mid June though, Ice Performance will be installing some new equipment and remodelling the factory to also offer panel beating, spraying, body kit fitting and other cosmetic repair needs. More details about this as they come.

If people need to contact Nigel, he can still be contacted through the normal channels.

Gerald at Ice Performance can be contacted on 9512 7591 or 0414 359 888.

Isn't that the ICE address, or was that number 28??

ah good good, i might actually get around to having the bodywork fixed...

... i understand that the split was amicable but wouldn't they now be in direct competition? or are they going to be offering different services or catering for different types of clients???

Differeny types of clients is my understanding.

Look, worst case, go chat to Nige & G and sort out who best stuits your needs.

Its amicable definately... i mean i like with G for gods sake and there is nothing sour at all

Nige will still be there until the end of April.

Yes, the Ice Performance website is still on it's way. Just waiting for our developer to do something about it :(

LEEWANG …………… next time I see you, I will ask you ……“What did the 5 fingers say to the face……………………..????? S L A P !!!!!!!! lol

I have asked Gerald etc several times to come back to me with any content for the site, he was always too busy. I even got Ross to come down with me to structure the site. We got the sitemap sorted more or less, but once again been waiting for content which never arrived. Asked a number of times but nothing happened.

Good luck to Niege with the new business and I hope Gerald keeps going as well as he has.

    • Personal experience. Those f**kers burn. And are actually a PITA to put out. Next time I walk down the back, I'll snap a photo of what the inside of the bonnet looks like when that thing ignites. PS, powder fire extinguishers are useless on that stuff too as it's fibrous and when it ignites, it starts to pull apart. And you end up just blowing powder through a sieve effectively.   Like the big thing is, if it's fire resistant, it's job is to stop what burning? The METAL above it? It's just to try keep heat off the bonnet paint work.
    • Oh man, sorry, $60.00000000... 😛
    • That's more or less what he meant. What it really means is that you do not have to go full crazy on the build. Don't need the best oil pump, expensive rods & pistons, big cams, etc. You can upgrade whatever you want instead of using stock level items, but you don't have to. Having said that - any time an RB is opened up, if anything is getting replaced, I think the opportunity should be taken to do all the sensible upgrades. Pistons, rods, pump, etc.
    • February update 🙂 We managed to get the very last 1/18th "Extra Scale" cars stock available from bookstores in Kyoto. These are actually the last ones and will not be restocked again! Hachette Collections Japan have not decided on a release date for these or other models in the series, so for the time being these are all there are available new.  These are showing up on Yahoo auctions at inflated prices already (especially the Celica and NSX) so get yours now at a very reasonable price before they disappear!
