having equal lenth pipes means that when you are punching along you in theory are moving the exauhst gases out of the turbos equaly. honestly i dont feel that you will be able to notice the difference in power wether there equal or not!

some one may think different though.

wow there are some exciting shapes in those pics!

:bunny:

exhaust pulse tuning matters most after the port - on an n/a motor it's really significant because the gas path is unimpeded, and scavenging and engine characteristics can be enhanced/tuned by fiddling with pipe length, diameter etc. when you have a turbo whacked into the path of the exh gas it's pretty much all over as long as resistance and turbulence are minimised after the turbo. i've got equal length on my gtr and to be honest i'd rather do without the spaghetti and extra weight.

any more thoughts ?

Getting my new system custom made tomorrow morning. It will consist of twin 3" front pipe through 2x3" magic cats and then merge to 3.5" Cat back. I will be asking for the Y pipe to be as slow transitioning as possible....since 2 three inch pipes into a 3.5" would speed flow up in a hurry

fair enough.

well when thinking about it..

its no longer a pulse once it leaves the turbo housing, so aslong as it is a smooth transistion it shouldn't affect the flow too much.
