What he means is that 2.5psi will give you say 10hp but create alot more heat from the turbo, higher exhaust temp gas's mean higher chance of detionation along with the turbo being under more stress... so some people believe for the small gain to be had from 12 to 14.5psi its not worth it! Its a good idea for ppl who have a long term interest in keeping the car and standard turbo :P
