Headlight moisture

Anyone know how to fix the problem of moisture in the headlights of an R34??? It had "apparently" been fixed but it's funny how water still gets in.

Can it be done myself and what should i use to seal it?

Or should i take it to mechanic or panel beater??

my headlights dont get moisture in them but one of my indicators does [barely noticable]. i am guessing they are the xenons? hmm [maybe i dont want the xenons after all then]...

you can get a small drill bit and drill a hole as a vent if you want.

nismoR34, how about you sell the xenon's to me?

Or we can swap + cash?

i wont need to swap cause i already have the non-xenons...I havent got the xenons yet...dude getting them is OS atm

prob is once you get moisture in it leaves residue and dirt inside. I'm still waiting for somebody to tell me how you actually get inside the lens to clean it properly!

i got a guy that takes them apart and cleans them and reseals them...after you can tell...it looks factory...i think 80 bucks a side

Seems expensive.. nah, hair drier won't do it..it needs scrubbing from the inside

light doesn't need scrubbing... the water will dry itself... i just need to seal it properly so it doesn't mist and fog up everytime it rains...

CR34TION, i'll come around and do it.. it shouldnt be too hard.. remove front headlight look for any gabs and sica-flex it!

if you don't want it to fog up, just tap a small hole somewhere as a breather, perhaps underneath.

well check where the bolts mould to the plastic as headlights are prone to crack there and let moisture in

ed.. underneath would be a good place.. but.. then also it should be where there is a bit of an incline leading down to the hold.. otherwise it will still pool in the corners of the headlight...

actually, creation's headlights don't fog up or pool water... it has water drops inside the lens. A whole will not fix this, in fact more water will get in. Needs to take whole bumper off, take out lights and clean and reseal....

someone give me some places to fix this problem...

i got by quoted Auswide Panel Services approx $150 to take the light out as you have to remove the bumper and a further $200 to send it to specialist and get it fixed.

any suggestions???
