gidday.

after a while of looking for intercooler kits, i came to the conclusion that 300x 600 x 76ml size fmic's fit in r32 gts-t's without fuss or hassle...

but id love to know if thats right or wrong.... cos its based on mere speculation.

James.

300 x 600 x 75 is the common size that most intercoolers are these days.

on an R32 gtst, YES, there is cutting required.

a just jap kit which has a 300 x 600 x 75 intercooler and all piping required will set you back about $500

you will need to do some cutting of the front bar and possibly the metal support behind to fit it.

you can buy kits that don't require cutting, but they are much more expensive.. even second hand.

BLITZ and ARC are 2 companies that I know of that make kits for R32 gtst which uses the stock intercooler pipes in the engien bay and new pipes from where the current stock cooler is to the new cooler which fits without cutting.

good luck.

Just go for a 600x300x76, not much cutting required really, only the plastic front bumper and some of the metal bumper support bar (i only cut mine because of the way i modified my bumper, so i dont think it even needs to be cut, fills the bumper perfectly, fits in there very nicely and looks great :(
