Traction Controll Light On 34gtt

Hi guys, ever since ive owned my 34, the tcs off light, has never worked etc? I was just wondering if anyone else has struck this problem? I'm thinking it may just be the the bulb in the dash blown etc but not sure. I just thought i would try an find some info out before i start pulling the instrument cluster out.

Do you know if launching with it "off" makes a difference? If it is still controlling your traction and can be turned off, that would imply the bulb was gone. If you can get the car into diagnostic mode (search for it, its definately on here), there are two ABS/TCS related error codes (DTC17 and 44). You don't need a CONSULT to do it but if you can borrow one, that would be the other way to check the car. If you still have no luck, PM me and ill send ya the self diagnostics instructions.

After all that, then I'd start taking things apart.
