i just went through Lombardi brothers to get my side skirts and rear aprons done and paint matches exactactly to my car and quality of paint sprayed onto the skirts is so nice they preped it all sanded primer and installed it they did a good job

if u want the guys name i went through give us a pm

I bought my kit form Fibrevision and Works and Cowley Smash are fitting it and painting the whole car (color change) Takes time, but Panel and Paint isnt something you should rush. Top work. From experience most places who sell kits arent the best painters.

alpinestars - I know the Lombardi brothers does a top job but they charge more. If you dont mind can you pm me on how much they charged you, cheers.

masTers - Yeah excally I rather pay and wait alil bit more for a good good rather then a dodgy one. What colour are you changing to by the way.

hey guys, i know this is a massive thread revival ...

but has anyone had experience with the work done at the spoilershop?

Looking to get a rear bumper from them and fitting it and painting it

Also, i noticed you guys actually fitted bodykits on, did you guys use fibreglass kits?

I called around a whole bunch of panelbeaters today, and 90% said no to fitting the kit if it was fibreglass .. was told that they did not fit well

Can anyone help me out?

I'm really keen on getting the Nismo S tune rear bumper from JSAI (theres a local supplier in perth - modyourcar)

Hi mate,

I don't have experience with the Spoiler Shop, but I can recommand my fitter if you need one.

His name is Rob and he works at Hybrid Customs in Welshpool. He fitted a friend of mine's kit and my kit for the autosalon, great guy. If you want his detail, let me know. :)

Hey mate,

that would be great,

just wondering, did you fit a fibreglass kit or a plastic one?

a whole bunch of panelbeaters just refused to even try fitting a fibreglass, the only place i could find so far is

Instyle Customs and The Spoiler Shop .. both who get their kits from carmate ... which ive heard mixed reviews about

Hi, mine is fibreglass and so was my friend's. There will always be mixed reviews, but a good fitter can help out alot in case of fitment.

Mine is a lip kit, so was alot easier. My friend's blue V35 coupe was full bodykit (Webersport) but the fitment was perfect.

Good luck.

Thanks victor will get in touch with him :)

just wondering, did he get the body kit in for you? or did you supply it yourself

the only places ive got in touch with so far require me to buy the bodykit with them (they generally use carmate ...)

Dani Boi: yeah ill give them a call and have a look at them too, just seeing what my options are at the moment before i make the decision :)

thanks for the help guys

I supplied mine. I got mine from Styled2Race in O'Connor.

In case you want to see what they got for you, or can get it for you.

For painting, I can give you the contact of the guy who did for me. But I wasn't too satisfied with it because mine is pearl white and it's harder to match. If you are not in a hurry, ask Fibrevision because some of my friends went there and their paints looked great.

Or ask Robb because he told me he knows someone as well. I just didn't go to his contact because I was in a hurry to finish for Autosalon.

Thanks for all the help victor

I'm doing this through insurance, so they might prefer that the buying, fitting and painting is all done by the one person, but ill have a chat with them and see how things go,

ill definitely go check out styled2race, rob, and fibrevision as well

again, thanks for all the help and advice :)

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.
    • Thanks for taking the time to post that ! If anything changes or happens please do update us.
    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
