hey guys

i have a R32 GTS-T and the clutch is sliping hard. im goin to be putting in a R33 Gearbox in soon i just want to know will a R33 clutch fit into a R32 gearbox? and wats a good single plate clutch which can hold about 250-280kw. i drive my car to work so i dont want a Heavy or hard clutch

thanks

bill

I fitted what I was told was a clutch / flywheel assembly for a RB20 onto the back of a RB25 and slotted the engine into an R32 (GTS4), still with std 'box.

It was an Extreme / Exedy HD pressure plate and, I think, a ceramic spring-centre driven plate. It is "heavier" than a standard setup, and has been handling 180 AwkW.

as what everyone else will say

This guy should be listened to.

ive been looking around the net and i cant find anything on "jim berry"

anyone know a website or anything about these?

The product is great. Jim has been building them before any of us were born. He has been doing lots of Skylines lately. Modifies them to individual specifications. Give him a call. He is lovely to chat to. You can send it to him, and he'll usually have it back to you within a fortnight. As a woman driving the GTR, its the best clutch I've ever used. Very smooth and quiet around the town (not twin/triple plate rattle), and very tough launching at 8000rpm @ WSID. We have probably done at least 40 or 50 launches in it....and its only just starting to slip now. We are sending it up to Jim very soon to get fixed up before Compak Attack.
