Not sure how this affects other states but it is good for us Queenslanders, there is a new national standard on replacement engine sizes.

Well this new law just stuffed up my engine conversion plans grrrr...... :D

So, what... you were planning on putting something bigger than 4L in your R33?

and Sarumatix - when i had my AE86, i spoke to an engineer about getting my 4age conversion engineered.. he advised me that if the vehicle came out with that engine in another model (i.e. GTR in your case, or in my case the Jap version of the AE86), it was fine to transplant the engine into your vehicle, as long as the braking/suspension/driveline was all upgraded to the specs of the donor car as well.
