Help! R32 Gtr Cat Converter Sensor

im tryna install my hi flow cat.. but the sensor bolt is rounded harddd and wont come off the standard cat... will there be problems if i jus cut the sensor and then put the hi flow cat in without puttin in the sensor?

no problems. just cover up the exposed wiring so it doesnt earth out anywhere. then tuck the free wire up out of the way and cable tie it.

nice thanks buddy! i cut it thinking it was wires i cud solder back but it was sum wool and wire haha.. now im having a mission taking of the cat from the catback exhaust DAMN RUST

another question... i got space for where the sensor goes but no cover for it... that bad? leaving a cat with an opening to outside? im trying to get a bolt to cover it up but none i had fit.

will sound like an exhaust leak..

does your old sensor screw into the hole in the cat? if so, take it in and get a bolt place to match the thread type and bolt size..

the red light on the dash you'll have forever is sort of annoying lol ...

also on r33's i know they have a plug under the passenger seat that you can unplug the bit of wire you cut. your car might have this 2

in my 33 i undid the plug under the seat this made the light on the dash go out.

yes the light will not be on permanently. i've only ever had the temp sensor in use on one of my cars and none of them ever had the light come one. i know of other people who have had it come on from the wire earthing out somewhere.

definately plug the hole. you dont want it leaking.
