Special Greddy T-piece?, Boost Gauge

hey all, i just got a 60mm greddy electronic boost gauge. now i've got it all wired up sweet, power to everything and the memory function etc is working - the gauge appears to be fine. however, it refuses to read boost or vaccum. i turn the car on and the gauge does nothing. i have done some reading on the net, and apparantly you need a special T-piece for this gauge to read properly. it is like a normal t piece, but the leg that goes to the boost sensor is blocked off excpet for a tiny tiny hole. can anyone tell me if this is true?? and if so, where i can get one of thse T-pieces?

i highly doubt it.. it would reduce the air FLOW, and would eventually reach the same pressure
