Just how much info can you get from a power fc serial number?

Serial Number is:

BNR34 0001 - 0015

What information can you get from this and how do you go about getting it?

judging by the BNR34, my guess is its for a r34 gtt

BNR is GTR, not GTT.

And I was under the assumption that Power-FC's can only be used on manuals, not auto's. Someone please confirm this for me?

Yes that's right. Power FC's are for use on manuals only.

But they can be used on both turbo's and non turbo's right?

And looking at the serial on a r33 can you tell if its for series 1 or series2?
