"Auction grade 4.5 with a B interior (almost unheard of for a vehicle of this age)."

They are becoming collectors item over there.

Is a BIT exy... not too bad. After a major detail it would make more sense. I reckon prestige is more expensive then most though

again, it's not a Passage.

It doesn't have a Passage interior.

It doesn't have Passage badging.

All Passages are 4 door pillarless, but not all 4 door pillarless are Passages. :(

I dunno how you can say that Sky, with so much conviction.

I have only seen 3 or 4 Passage GT's, but all have been different, different interiors, some had the rear wing and some didn't, some were badged and some weren't, all had different wheels, 1 had a body kit and the others didn't.

How would you know for sure?????????

The description says it's a coupe and it clearly isn't, so how come your such the veritable expert and all from a picture or 2.

Still though, at the end of the day it's a 4 door R31 red top RB20DET and all the reports I have read, say the same thing, they run out of puff around 5000 so they're not as punchy as you might think.

Another thing with either of the 4 door R3's, if your over about 5' 8" tall, your head & shoulder's are going to be in the middle of the back door glass, not a great place to be sitting in my opinion.

If I was buying any R3 series, a coupe is the only way to go and they can be bought for this sort of money, here in Oz landed and complied and with rego.

Cheers, D

That's probably because like some of the posters above, you're assuming that if it's a 4 door import, it's a Passage.

It's badged as a GTS.

It doesn't have the plush velour interior.

The front seats are the wrong shape, and also the wrong colour, and the wrong fabric... Passage simply didn't have an interior that looks like that, and iirc the Passage has a centre arm rest in the rear (as per Ti) which is also absent.

Steering wheel is not an original Passage item.

..... all of the above could have been changed by a previous owner, but it's not very likely.

It would be like buying a GTR and removing everything that makes it a GTR, then selling it as a GTS.

the s1&2 passages are the same with the blue interior like mine, s3 is different n doesnt have the velour seats, altho some people put the blueys back in their s3

that passage doesnt have the GT tail lights, rather has the boring 4 door ones

also that passage doesnt have cruise control where i thought that came standard?

also no tape stacker? wtf :P

in my opinion i think this car is a bit of a mixo

a mix of this a mix of that

but i wouldnt pay that. i paid 1200 for my passage which needed a small amount of work done

    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
