My one weighs 1440kg and puts out approx. 140kw @ flywheel standard. And I *think* 230Nm of torque? What else you wanna know?

nice

cheers mate

140? would that be around 160kw at the crank?

bit heavier than what i thought but bit more power than i thought lol.

are they 4WS and 4WD or just 4WD?

also can you switch between RWD and 4WD?

i wouldn't think so.......?

I still rue the go-slow decision route I took when buying my turbo R33. The extra power definitely puts smiles on faces more frequently, but for forgiveable handling due to the Atessa 4wd, the GTS4 is a great value machine. The secret to getting good performance is to make them carry speed into/through bends with the engine rpm wound up!

Brake spec is lamentable, but cured with turbo-spec transplant. Not a race-car but provides good fun when the price difference is factored in.

I own a gts4 and It's soo hard to get information about it. Thankfully to this forum I've got what I needed. I was wondering if 140kw is powerful. I think it's about 190hp but aren't the gts-t's around 240hps? That's why adventually I'd like to turbocharge my gts4 and try to get it up around 240's - 260's...

It's really good that the gts4 has the gtr's drivetrain as well because I didn't know that :O

Firstly... Thread revival, u must have dug for a while..

Secondly... They are not powerful... sorry to say any commodore past the VS era will demolish u, ur almost the same weight and down on power by heaps...

140kw is at the flywheel, ie what the engine makes, it losses a fair chunk of that by the time it gets to yours wheels...

at the wheels... the actual power stock you put to the ground is about 95-105kw... thats it...

I own a 96 gts4 myself, yes they are not the fastest things on the streets but they still make enough power to make P-plater happy lol. Great car as a starting point and gets u used to the car and u start learn more things about the RB and the Skylines. I for one enjoy it and my mate has a vt or vx? not too sure tp be exact as theyh look similiar and it kept with him the whole way so yeah all in all i would say they are a great p plater car, sound awesome too :)

Nissan did not put it there from factory, the mount and bracket holes are there but i dont really know hw to explain where they are its easier if you just look at a GTS-T with it fitted, GTS-T and GTR may be the same as the swaybars are the same part NO#? im pretty sure....
