What Parts Needed For A R34 Gtt Manual Conversion?

hi guys,

i got an R34 GTT n wanting to do a manual convertion. i already have an R33 (gearbox + pedals + clutch master cylinder) but in regards to the push pull type clutch which i have no idea about, So what do i need? Any help would greatly be appreciatedand also anyone in bris that anyone would recomend? cheers guys ...

I take it you have an auto 34 and you want to convert it to manual .

So far you have a 33 g/box, a 33 clutch, and a clutch master cil. You need the flywheel , fork and release bearing ( if you dont have it).When you say pedal , i take it you have the complete thing including the pedal box, you need the slave cil, the pipe that goes from the muster to the rail near the slave, the flexi pipe from the rail to the slave, the console , shifter, cluster thats all i can think of at the minute but i'm sure i missed something ..

yeah thats right i currently have an auto n its gettign boring to drive specially in a turbo car n all... all the parts i have is comming from my R33 wreck so hope everything fits in well... thanks for the info mate...

If you have a complete car ( wreck)there you should be right, you will only need a console(34) and a manual cluster ( 34). The box , flywheel and clutch , slave and pies will fit but you will end up with a push clutch ( 34's have pull) .

Are you doing it yourself?

Thats great thanks mate. So u can actually use it as a push clutch n not needing to change it over to a pull type? No i've got a mechanic to convert for me but i just wanted to know wat is what so hopefully i dont get ripped off .... hope labour isnt so costly now

As long as you supply him with the 33 /box and its push clutch and slave . You will need the flywheel from that car as well. If i was you i would use a new clutch ( unless the used one you have is almost new , that will save you pulling the box out again to replace it .

Isk your mechanic how much he will charge you before you give him the job and if he is to expensive shop around ..
