Clutch Fluid Leak In Cabin

Heya guys,

Got another one for you fellow out there.

I have just recently noticed that they is clutch fluid leaking in the footwell of my cabin in my 32 GTS-t.

I've spoken to a mate and her reckons that I need to buy a slave cylinder reconditionin kit to get the seal that is busted and causing the leak.

I want to fix it up fairly soon but I reckon that buying a $150.00 kit for just a rubber seal is a little waste o money.

Has anyone else had the same problem? Andi fi so, how did you go about fixing it up??

If its leaking into the car it will be the master cylinder not the slave cylinder. Its usually better to replace than to rebuild as the cylinder is usaully damaged when they are leaking.

i had this just a couple weeks back..it could be the master cylinder itself or the gasket for it..just old i guess...cost be about 200 to get it fixed...im sure you can prolly find cheaper
