NGK Spark Plugs

Hi Everyone,

I've just received the Feb 2003 NGK catalogue (NZ Edition). The good thing about this version is that it lists (nearly) all imports and gives you the recommended part number for Platinum and Iridum plugs. These can then be ordered from Repco or other NGK dealers.

I'm happy to provide codes if anyone needs them.

Yeah, i wouldn't mind the code for a 180sx SR20.

Repco can tell you generally...however they have to ring up head office to get the codes. They quoted me about $22 each for Platinums and $28 for Iridiums so I just went coppers ($24 for the whole set..hmm)

i wouldn't mind knowing the part no.s for the Iridium's for a R32 GTS-T.

btw stupid question (i've only had my car for 2-3months) but the Iridium's are better than the Platinums i take it?

sr20 180sx should use the same plugs as a 200sx. NGK PFR6B-9. Platinum plugs at are about $20-$25 each.

iridiums arent even better than coppers. They dont produce a better spark, or more performance, they just dont foul as quickly. But most of you guys will be running rich and foul them pretty quickly anyway.
