got one of these on the r32gtst , just curious what the gain knob is for,as i dont have the manual, and any ideas were it should be set?,. cheers

Technically yes, the GAIN does lower and raise the boost. But the main setting for increasing boost is 'SET'

This is what the manual says...

Adjusts boost consistency, if you have boost spikes lower the GAIN, if the boost falls off at high rpm or the boost gradually increases as rpm increases, raise the GAIN.

in laymans terms, it adjusts how fast you want it to BUILD boost.

you use the SET to set your limit, and use GAIN to adjust how it BUILDS the boost.

It basically keeps the wastegate shut longer to make boost come on harder, as you have higher gain, and the opposite when you have less.

cheers for the replys guys, topaz i saw that in the tech section on greddys site but i have a spec 1

I think its best to start low and move up. My gain is set at 8%, but I have a twin turbo and Spec II, so I don't know how its different.
